**Car has only been street tuned at this point, and would suggest at least 7500cc injectors before putting it on a dyno. It's only seen 10lb of...
I did the same swap.. here's the diff. The "HX" chassis has a 5 or 7 wire primary 02 sensor, and lacks a secondary 02 sensor. I tried to rewire the "HX" engine harness.. but spent way to much time and couldn't get it to work.
Here is the simple way to complete your wiring issue. Purchase a...

Looking to get $3,800.00 asap.. buying a house in a few weeks.
All 1996 and newer vehicles are checked by the OBD2 scan tool. At least in cold azz Ohio. My car failed because I was running an OBD1 engine and ECU in a 98 chassis.
I can tell you for a fact that if you have an OBD1 ECU in the car and they plug in.. it will read as an ERROR. They might...
I figured someone would know how to fix this code. So here it is..

does the jdm b20vtec engine physically have the Fluctuation sensor? I believe it should if it's a OBD2 engine.

Alright.. tired of this little yellow light glaring at me.
I found that the only difference between the two chassis are emission related to a sensor back at the gas tank on the EX model. Being that I put all the EX stuff in the car, the computer is looking for this certain sensor that I don't...
Here is what I have.. a 97' Civic "EX" with a 98' LS engine block, G.E. sleeves, Carrillo Rods, Wiseco 84mm 8.5:1cr turbo pistons.

The car is a 98 Civic "HX" I had a 98 Teg LS turbo in it.. so I ditched the "HX" engine wiring harness and computer when I did the original swap. I ended up using a "DX" engine wiring harness at the time. Now I've had problems with the chassis of the car splitting the spot welds at the core...
Using a 97 "EX" engine wiring harness.. how would you wire for the Secondary 02 sensor? The Primary 02 sensor plugs in... but there is no plug for the Seconday 02 sensor.
The "EX" chassis has the secondary 02 sensor plug at the dash that runs who knows where..
I read the Honda book and wired...
The "EX" harness is a 4-wire primary and 4-wire secondary 02 sensor. The "EX" chassis has the secondary 02 sensor plug under the dash on the drivers side. I believe it runs up to the gauge cluster.. and eventually runs to the gas tank for some type of sensor.
The "HX" chassis has the 5-wire...
The Primary 02 sensor is perfect.. no codes.
My secondary 02 sensor 4 wire that I just wired in.. 3 of the wires I took care of right at the ECU.. but the 4th wire which is black.. not sure where it goes. I tried to splice it in to the charcoal canister in the engine bay.. because they are...
What state are you located in? Pick up a manual and check the connections where you swapped plugs to verify the power side, grounds ect. Let me know if you want to sell off the "HX" ECU.
