I took in my b16 ef to get e-tested and it failed, miserably.
the test was a 2 speed idle(too low to get on the dyno) and iut was tested under hot rod specs since it doesn't reatin the stock block. If you can help that would be appreciated...
test results:

have done a b16A 1st gen PR3 ECU mod on my civic. Need help knowing how(where) to wire the knock sensor.
The schematics that I have do not show the sensor. The wiring pinout calls for pin B19. I am told it is a shielded wire as well.
Do I connect the one leg of the sensor to B19 and the other...
i used 2 lower civic hoses.
you have to strech them over the b16 nipple as they are larger dia.
the top i held the lower one up to and trimmed to fit perfectly. then streched it over
i did this mostly because i had a parts car with a extra rad hose
i have the shift linkage working... the reson i thought it would shift gears is that the stabilizer would be bolted to the undercarriuage and it wouldn'ty move with the engine like stock... the only prob with this is that when i floor it the shifter moves a little bit... which isn't that bad...
EF auto-manual swap
that will cover you on the conversion from automatic to manual transmission and you will need to mpfi aswell
MPFI conversion
and jus to make sure you have everything...
ZC swap shopping list
hmmm... i could....
what would happen if i cut off the stabilizer and bolted it to the body of the car? i was told it was ok because i have enjo(racing) mounts and it wouldn't change gear when i accelerate because the mounts were too stiff and the engine wouldn't move enuf to shift...
i think...
well thanks guys for all your help
my engine is now running i just have to find out something for a shift linkage... the local shop wants $400 for a hasport shift linkage...(cdn) so once i fig that out i will be running
