another h22 swap help post but different car

Your hood will close, the engine harness will plug in at the shock tower, and the ecu will plug into your stock harness by your passenger side door, so no worries there. As for a swap list, I used about 100 different websites to do my swap that i searched using google, so just search h22 civic...

    H22 swap....Please help

Are you sure first gear is engaging properly???? Will it move if you start in second instead of first. Check to make sure your cables aren't kinked and that the shifter is able to move through its full travel freely without hitting any part of the tunnel. Also, check the top of the tranny...

    hesitation at low rpm.

Also of note, I am running a resistor box from a 93 prelude S, so an f series sohc non vtec. I can't find any research on this to know whether it's the same as an h series resistor box or not. However, it runs well enough I can't imagine it's a problem, but if anyone knows anything about this...

    hesitation at low rpm.

I've only got one o2 sensor, but it's brand new. I'm 99% positive that OBD 1 H22's only had one o2 sensor location, and it was mounted right in front of the cat, which is where mine is located now. I forgot to add new o2 sensor to that list.

    hesitation at low rpm.

So, I know this topic has been touched on often in other posts and I've read them over, but haven't quite solved my problem. My JDM H22 has a low rpm hesitation or bog if you will, but only if you're on the throttle lightly, and only when the engine is warm. When the engine is cold, there is...

90 CRX HF wiring, I need a diagram, or something!

I had a swap a while ago that wouldn't start, turned out to be a bad engine ground on the thermo housing. Double check that, cause that will cause a non start.

    B16 CRX Swap

Also, would have to switch to hydraulic clutch w/B16a 2/3 swap. Little extra cash, little extra hassle. B16A1 has cable. Just something to think about.

CRX steering wheel spline count and diameter

Or, perhaps the correct and helpful answer to your question would have been this. The adapter itself has an I'D of 19/32, and there are 29 splines on the inside. The splines protrude into the I.D 0.025 inches. However, the tops of the splines are rounded off slightly, like they've been cut...

CRX steering wheel spline count and diameter

Like an adapter for an aftermarket steering wheel??? I've got one, make me an offer.

    Champion plugs????

Anyone here running champion plugs in their engines??? I'm running these in my h22 right now, and I'm running fine, no noticable problems, but the plugs are burning a bit white, not brownish like they should. Granted, I haven't checked my fuel pressure yet, which I plan to do as soon as I can...

    lucas oil stabilizer

I use it in my freshly rebuilt h22, and haven't had a problem at all. I've run it in all my cars for quite a while now and have never had a problem. However, I didn't run it in all my cars for quite a while before that, and didn't have a problem either, so it's hard to say if it really makes a...

My cam gear won't fit onto the cam

Just a thought I had when I read this, is your cam gear powdercoated???? If so, it could be the thickness of the powdercoat that's hangin you up. Take a piece of sandpaper and try to take a bit of the powdercoat out until it fits.

How can I build the most powerful D16z6 motor with torbo and nos

Unbelievable turbo information in here. I was contemplating a d16 turbo build myself and just got tons of information without even having to do any looking around at all. Thanks guys. Although I haven't seen a mention here for turbod16.com, which is another really good website, so I thought...

    h series swap into a '88 crx

Go for it man. The engine will fit, although you will need mounts of course. It'll be a harder swap, but not the hardest by any means. I swapped my h22 into my 92 civic, and it wasn't all that bad at all. You'll have a slightly tougher time, but it's not impossible. It's a really good...

    CRX Seat Swap

I've done this exact swap myself, so it can be done. involves a bit of cutting, drilling, shimming etc to make it work, but it's not very hard. CRX rails will not bolt onto the civic floor though, so you have to adapt the crx seat to the civic rails. Either that or just do some welding...

    d16y8 swap

uhhh, wait, I should've answered all of that. You need an obd1 to obd2 conversion harness and a P2P ecu to make that engine run the way it's in your car now. Or you can swap the afore mentioned stuff and run your current ecu without conversion harnesses. Sorry.

    d16y8 swap

Here's two ways you can make this work. 1. You need an OBD2 to OBD1 harness conversion to make that engine run off the P28. 2. You run your stock vx intake manifold, distributor and injectors on your D16Y8 and it will run without the harness coversion. I ran a D16Y8 in a 92 civic dx off a...

    timing belt tensioner

which engine???? which tensioner????? Auto like an h22???? or manual like everything else???? I'd buy a manual if I were you, cause timing belts are pretty simple, but you really don't want to make a mistake on them. If you give me a few more details though, I can try to help you, or...
