No ECU? Hopefully your engine comes with the wire harness intact. Your EG8 LSi stock is running a dpfi D15B2 with an OBD0 P04 ecu (equivalent to USDM PM5 ecu). Without the wire harness or some wiring work, having the correct ecu in hand wouldn't help much.

The housing part number on the casting (on one of the 3 legs, think should be on the leg furthest away in the pic) should be TD46U or TD55U for the '95 LS.

What ecu were you using? Have you tried out using your friend's usdm p72 ecu? assuming its also obd2.

If there is only ONE ecu plug, there is almost nothing you can do to re-wire. Get the 3 ecu plugs for the P08/28 or whatever mpfi vtec ecu you have. You may need to add a whole lot more wires than you think you should, another 2+ plugs worth... There are tech articles here in hondaswap to show...

You will have problem fitting the vacuum advance dizzy on the P08 VTEC cylinder head. Also the electronic advance type D15B VTEC dizzy will not work properly with the dual carb ecu. Might as well perform a complete D15B VTEC swap. Hopefully the engine comes with the complete uncut wire harness...

I've seen a couple of knock sensors. They are all one wire. Presumably the knock sensor itself is grounded when attached to the engine block.
