    Misc. start up issues

hmm... I guess I dont understand exactly what your talking about. The reason your idling high probably has to do with the coolant and tps throwing errors, or you could just need to turn the idle screw down. I'm guessing your not sure if you routed your vacuum lines right? If you'd like I can...

I think I might have a swap problem

To answer your other questions, there are no oil lines to run for vtec. The wiring will route just the same on an automatic engine, my engine came automatic as well. As far as wiring the p13 it should just plug right in place of your old ecu since their both obd1. Good luck

    Treadstone turbocharger systems

Yeah, that was the initial plan, but parts added up quick. And I had no idea if this manifold, that turbo would allow me to keep ac. I'm still kinda trying to go that route but I'll need to figure things out still. By the way what does everyone know about OBX's turbo manifolds? I've used two...

    Treadstone turbocharger systems

Yeah, its not. And I'm not looking to rebuild it at this point. Thats some of the reason for not wanting to go over 325hp. I do like the idea of the turbonetics kit, but I don't feel like I need to spend the extra $1500 or whatever just for some of the engine management stuff, I plan on using...

    damn minivans

From what I can see of the pictures, it took a hard enough a hit to wrinke the apron, and damage the core support beyond repair. So its not just put on some junk yard parts and your good to go.

    damn minivans

That sucks, was it your fault? And being it would probably take less than $1500 to total that car, yeah its totaled.

    how about a k20

Oh, I definatly agree it makes more sense, but in terms of doing the swap it complicates things alot. I've always fancied the idea of swapping the 3.0 vtec from the new accord but the same rule applies as its "backwards" compared to our motors (among other huge problems).

    Honda Accord Temperature Issues

Just dont get the alternator wet. Whats the news on your thermostat problem? And just for reference that "low oil light" as you called it is really an oil pressure light and can come on even if your not low on oil due to a oil pump malfunction.

    how about a k20

Uh.. Isnt the k series engine mounted backwards compared to the h f series?

H22A Clutch Problem. Won't shift while running, will when off. New Clutch & Flywhee

What exactly do you mean by harder to shift? Is the clutch pedal getting stiffer weaker? Does it act like the clutch isn't disengaging and your grinding trying to shift? Is the shifter getting stiffer and harder to pull in and out of gear? The adjustable nut on the master cylinder is there to...

    new transmission for h22a1

Why dont you just run the h23 tranny? Unless your h22 is lsd the h23 is almost as good, the only difference is a slightly longer gear in 2nd, which will make the h23 only slightly slower. If your on a budget just use the h23 and save the money your gonna spend rebuilding and save for an lsd.

    5th gen h22 swap

You should be good to go on emission in new hampshire doing it like I did, the only place I hear that is really stingy is California. If you do decide to stay obd2, I think you can stick with the 96 ecu's cause they dont have an immobilizer. Think the code is p5m or there is supposed to be an...

    5th gen h22 swap

Where do you live? When I had to go through emissions, I just put my accord ecu back in there let it go through its checks which takes about a day starting it and running it 30 miles or so, and then took it in with no check engine lights. Thats all there is too it, actually the guys were so...

    5th gen h22 swap

I would just suggest converting to OBD1 and running a chipped p28 or p72. You can also run a p13 which is the OBD1 prelude ecu without chipping it. You MUST chip the p28 or p72 though. I also have a 97 Accord with a 97 USDM prelude motor, and I am running a chipped p72.

    Frustrated 99 Accord W/h22.....

Uh, running the accord ecu will make it very lean. And it wont be much more powerful than the f22. If you've been running it on the accord ecu for awhile and reving it higher, you've probably nearly destroyed that motor.

    H22 Slow Acceleration

If its jdm its not an h22a1 its just h22a. And it sounds like your using the h22 tranny, so It should peel the tires out like your saying even as an automatic. I dont really know what to tell you though since you have no check engine lights.

Manual or Automatic? Which h22, a jdm or US?

h22a type s swap ecu question

I'm using crome, and I love it. I hadn't done jack as far as tuning a FI car and I figured it out pretty easily. I used the free version with the ostrich rtp though.

    bypass coolant t/b?

That is caused from the Fast idle thermal valve under the tb you were talking about, take it out take off the cover and screw that big white plastic screw down just snug. Should fix the problem.
