are you running a stock ecu? because mine did that when a ran the obd2b ecu on my 99' b16a. the right ecu solved the prob for me.

so your saying that i should get an obd1 harness and ecu, so it will tunable, but in stock form, plus a few bolt ons, there is no proformance lost switching to the older system?

im not 100% sure but from what i understand the vtec doesnt actually "run" on oil pressure, but is more like engaged by adaquite oil pressure. thus as long as you have enough oil pressure to engage the vtec excess oil pressure is irellavent. please correct me if im wrong. and rep me if i am lol;)

that sucks, i just spent like 190 bucks on a frogger ob2a to obd2b adapter. i was told that i couldnt run the 99' b16a ecu, and that i need the 00' b16a ecu because the 00' has additional sensors eg. crank sensor? so that not true?

learning on a stage two clutch is really easy, my girl didnt stall once when she learned on it, although she had alot of fun frying my tires with 4000rpm clutch drops:(, then flooring it!:o Lets just say she's a work in progress. lol
