hey man i got a rhb5 subaru turbo with downpipe. Looks to be in good condition. I played with the wheel and everything and there is very little play. I bought it to turbo my d but went another way. It is missing the wastegate but if you go external it won't matter. Located in ct.

ls/vtec turbo will offer the most horsepower gains for the least cost.

just a note, a us b17 is not really a 1.7 litre it is really just a b16 like those found in jdm da integras.

You are also talking about an all motor stock honda automatic transmission,(You mentioned in other posts). This puts you at a disadvantage from the start. Then you are sticking with a single overhead cam engine which has far less potential(not looking for an argument on this i run a y8 myself:D)...

Why bother rewiring the b16 injectors? Your d16 injectors are the same size and will plug right into the new motor. Hope your read this before you ruin some nice obd1 injectors. Good luck:rolleyes:

thats gotta be a vacuum leak. Same thing happened when we did turbo on my buddys ls/vtec. The missing link had a plug that had fallen out and caused the same sort of symptoms your talking about. As soon as you covered the hole with your finger the engine would start idiling fine. Good luck.

Dosn't sound good man, definetly sounds like a short. Check the ground off of the vss and check your vss itself. that may explain your problem.

Wow, way to throw a tantrum! All i was saying is that for everyone to take something away from this thread with a better understanding of honda engines, including me because i didn't know if this was possible, your answer was lacking. Its fine though someone else had the answer that you didn't.:D

Do you actually know if this will work or not or are you just speculating. You gave no information to back this up. Is the headbolt pattern different? That would be something this guy would be looking for. I just like it when questions are answered with real information so that we all learn...

Well boys, i believe the day has come. I want to know what everyone else thinks of the k series engine. So far it has proven to be an engine that gains alot of horsepower from simple bolt on's and has also proven to be very reliable(unlike the dsm's which gain alot of power but blow at the drop...

All the internal ribbing under the trunk and in the doors, under the hood, ect. That stuff adds alot of weight. not everything can be solved with carbon fiber:p, although i wish it could be.:rolleyes:

Yah, but if the bolt pattern for the bellhousing is the same then it would be easy to swap the bellhousings, i think it is possible to do this swap, but more interesting would be a hybrid f22 f20 conversion.

Just like civic si seats without the headrest's. They have butt adjusters!!! anyways they are mint, little blemishes here and there. 100$ obo. i'll try to get pics asap.
