Just register the one they gave you with sony and it should be fine. They just care about the number on the box/console. I mean think about it, how many of those systems are given as presents without receipts lol
It seems weird to me that it does away with the 02 sensor. Without it the ecu can't monitor the exhaust gases and it won't be able to adjust the fuel. Do you have a link or more info on the chip?
Rain!! nooo now I have to clean the garage to make room for the car. Welding in the rain just doesn't sound appealing to me. Not bad though I have been wanting to that anyway so I can start body work too.
I got the other side almost in today, I need to weld in one more nut for the buckle on the driver side. << yet another reason that I am doing this the buckle was part of the seat and I want to swap the seats out. I am going to start my write up tonight and will probably get to putting in this...
My camera died or I would post some pictures=( I am going to do the other side tomorrow. Plus its all going to be covered, so you won't see any of the welds or anything. The seatbelts are out of a 89 si hatch. It took forever to get the mounts out of the parts car and ready to go in the new car...
Actually it is a Honda Motors of Canada car. All California civics are due to emission compliance. I just got one side in. had both my buddy and I jumping on it, about 400+ lbs plus the jumping force. and nothing flexed. The factory mounts were spot welded. Fillet welds will hold it to the car...
Just got the mounts cut out of the 89. going to start tearing apart the 91 here in minuet. would post pics but i forgot the camera outside... will get to it next time..
I don't see the problem with it. The mount holes are there, they just need to have nuts in place. I am going to slip the nut through the hole in the pillar (right where they are on the pillar mounted cars) The pillars are exactly the same except for there not being a nut in place. I just don't...
Can't wait, I have a friend coming over to take photo's of what I am doing so I can make a DIY on it. I am going to cut the pillar seat belt mounting nuts out of a 89 Si hatch and I am going to weld them in to a 91 Dx hatch. I don't know about the rest of you but I HATE the door mounted belts...
Rywire - Online Store
other than that you need to know how to rewire your car. like getting the two diagrams and making the one you have look like the one you want, with the plugs and sensors, etc.
good article. But they are saying that if you just let it sit you should let it sit for 2 years, I think that if you want to get "good" results you should do what they say. When they talk about heat and cold treatments they are all under computer controls to do it because to get a good heat/cold...
Linksys!! home section of cisco. Get the one that is powered by linux. works great with my xbox, and it has a usb port - easy set up for a file server(usb hd or flash drive works) I have the N version and stream netflix all the time and it works fine, but wired is cheaper(no xbox adapter...
