    I thought that was the point of getting studs. So you don't wear out the threads in the block and can reuse them. In the original post he was asking if he could reuse his head bolts.

    I've reused head bolts over and over. I haven't had a problem but ya you probably shouldn't. Just get some studs. They are cheap and reusable.

    If that's what you are using the car for then why build an engine with soo much power?? All you would do is spin your tires around the whole track. You'd be better off with a stock or mildly built NA B16 or B18C.
