I thought that was the point of getting studs. So you don't wear out the threads in the block and can reuse them. In the original post he was asking if he could reuse his head bolts.

+1 Mini me is really cheap and gets you some good power. You could spend the rest of the 1k on some go fast goodies.

I've reused head bolts over and over. I haven't had a problem but ya you probably shouldn't. Just get some studs. They are cheap and reusable.

If that's what you are using the car for then why build an engine with soo much power?? All you would do is spin your tires around the whole track. You'd be better off with a stock or mildly built NA B16 or B18C.

He's probably thinking of the torque. If you want more torque why not build a B20vtec instead of the GSR block??

A stock map should get you a couple hours from your house if you take it easy. It isn't like it's a turbo build or anything. Just put a stock B16 map in it with the extra displacement added. I can do that for you and send you the map. Then all you have to do is have it burnt. Here's a stock...
