    i'm doing an ls/vtec setup in a 93dx.....i know i have to wire the two wires for vtec........but i'm not sure if i have to do anymore.....because i have a b16 head (no purge control or secondary butterfly) and i'm using a chipped p28 so there is no knock sensor.... i've read a lot of articles...

    wiring vtec

    i don't have the original vtec pressure switch plugs, so i need to know what pins go to where....if you look a the actual sensor you can see two pins one on top and one on the bottom.....i need to know which one is ground and which one goes to ecu....even if someone can look at theirs and tell...

    dowel pins

    i'm in the process of putting a motor together and i forgot to get the dowel pins for the head/block.....if need them i'll wait for them but i would hate to stop and wait if they aren't really necessary. oh yeah i have arp studs to line everything up so thats no prob... thanks

    rod bearings

    i know on the main bearings there is a different part number for the top on bottom....the bearing that attaches to the block has a hole in it where the other one on the crank side does not....now i ordered all my bearing from acura (1.8) and according to what they gave me the upper rod bearing...

    oil squirters

    just got the ls crank in the gsr block.....plastiguaged the bearings and lubricated everthing......turns fine till the crank hits the #4 oil squirter :angry: ..... anybody experience this yet? or know how i can fix it.....i tried to bend the squirter out of the way it wasn't enough. thanks

    type r pistons and ls rods

    i just dropped off gsr rods with type r pistons at a machine shop and asked them to press ls rods to the pistons...well i got a phone call today, they said that they would have to machine the rods to make them fit.....i thought that sounded odd.....so i'm wondering if anyone heard of that or are...

    i just got a 93 dx a couple months ago and when i turn the headlights on they don't come on for like 30 secs then they come on by themselves (obviously with the switch in the on position still). i thought it could be a switch problem but i really don't think its a short cause even if the vehicle...

    i already have all these parts so cost effecetiveness is not an issue......i have a gsr block with gsr rods, crank and type r pistons....my plans (i have it on stand already) is to remove the gsr crank and replace with an ls crank...so it will be ls crank, gsr rods and type r pistons in a gsr...

    which distributor

    i'm using a b16 head with a p28 chipped ecu can anybody tell me what options i have for a distributor....i'd rather use an obd 1. i know obd 2 can be used but i don't have an obd 2 clip to splice in...so what are my options obd 1? thanks

    light weight crank pulley

    I know lightweight crank pulleys exist, however, they still have spots for accessory belts. Does anyone know if there is a crank pulley with only one spot on it for the alternator belt.
