put the Accord on; total of 3 coolant sensors. I'm most concerned now about how to trouble shoot the tranny in the absence of a D4 light to blink the tranny codes. Anyone?? Bob

Started the H22a for the first time today (replaced F22a6). Good news is that I rebuilt the engine OK and no pistons slammed into valves or anything. It starts right up but idles v high (2500rpm). I get codes 6, 7, and 21; so I'll be looking hard at the Coolant Temp Sensor, TPS, and VTEC...

Dunno about the F22b2 but the F22a a/t holds the H22 back due to its shift points. To get the performance offered by the h22, you need a trans that will boost the shift points to exploit the increased power band of the h22.

My guide says to splice together the yel/blk and yel (both thick) wires going to the distributor. No prob, I see them. It then says to disconnect the green wire as it is not needed. Well, the 3rd of 3 wires in this plug is black and green is nowhere to be found. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot please...

If a/t you can use the Accord axles. If m/t I believe you need the Prelude half-shaft but the Accord axles will work.

Huh? If you stick with the F22 auto trans/tcu, the trans won't take advantage of the higher redline of the H22. Either go manual or get the H22 a/t/tcu. Bob

The swap I'm working now uses a JDM H22A and the flywheel has 6 grooves. Logically, so do the JDM alternator and a/c. The Accord's stuff is all 4 groove. Since I;m pretty sure the JDM a/c is 134 vs. R12 on the Accord, I'm thinking about using the JDM a/c. Anyone ever do this and mod the...

My friend is sticking an H22 into his 91 accord. The h22 has a 6 groove cs pulley to go with the 6 groove a/c and alternator pulleys. His accord has a 5 groove pulley setup. Is he going to have to make the h22 auxillaries work in his install because of this groove issue? tks,.
