dude, you are going to blow up that engine. if you are going planning on nitrous or turbo etc, you need to atleast get new pistons, and you might as well change the connecting rods if you are down there. if you are planning for a turbo go with low compression pistons and cams with low overlap...

Check the injectors, when i got my engine back from being built cylinder #1 wasnt firing, we checked just about everything, then we bought a spare injector to see if that was the problem and sure enough everything worked fine.
