came across a b18a1 for free with a manual trans I have yet to crack it open and see how it looks inside but supposedly ran when pulled. the guy also handed us a short ram intake piping with filter, 2 stock 90-93 accord ex wheels, and 1 15" chrome rim my buddy is going to use as a fullsize spare.
that's actually what I meant. I found a write up and that's what it happened to be called. my fault. should've specified. it looked extremely easy plus I'll have the motor out so that won' hurt either. also I'm leaning towards a set of p29 pistons as calesta said earlier and I've been starting...
that is really high for daily driver but you could always go get the aem methanol kit if it came down to it. just a suggestion. I'm at the point in my build where I'm deciding which pistons as well.
Well although I am all for honda finally producing an affordable turbo coupe I think honda is overlooking a huge posibility to improve this car as a whole. I don't know about you guys but I hate their IMA system in the hybrids which is what I hear the new CRZ's were running with. Why did they...
almost done pulling the motor been slacking quite a bit because I don't have the money for the bottom end build yet.. but I am planning on doing a manual steering rack conversion on my car after the swap. it looks easy enough.
I am still looking but I need pics...and some rep man.. I try not to buy from people who aren't well known on the site had a couple bad experiences...but how much?
no longer need the manual steering rack
I'm looking for a d16y8 block. it can be bare...if the price is right but I'd like to find the bottom end with internals if possible
y8 oil pan
I am also looking for a hondata s300 unit
stock y8 injectors
aem or some other brand of fuel pressure regulator that isn't a modified stock unit...
beats me man. I was wondering the same thing. I assumed at first it was for the turbo then he was like nah it plugs in right here...being the back of the head I believe. it's been a while since I've seen his car. I doubt it does any good honestly. if you ever find out why I'd like to know!

I was just going to say driving a super car with 1,110 horses with a clutch would suck I'd almost rather have the paddle shifters honestly. especially if it was a daily driver. Does it also have adjustable suspension?
that fell through, but I found a website I need some people's feedback for. it's called hiperformer.com I was looking into buying a rebuilt motor from them and either swapping my built head on or just dropping in the full motor and enjoying the stockness for a while, til I can build the whole...
dude if you read my build then you know you're chasing the possible, but extremely expensive. You asked for the advice...the advice is it's a waste. if you plan to eventually replace for a b do it now. I promise you will thank me later. it'll cost you far less in the long run, you'll produce...
hate to crush your dreams man but it's just more practical to go with a b-series. If you wanna stand out go get an f22a4 motor and turbo it. they are bigger, have a relatively low compression ratio, and come sleeved from the factory. then if you eventually want more power you can still replace...
