It's not the starter, I have had three starters in there since the problem. I don't think the clutch is engaged. Is there any way to tighten the clutch cable more then just adjusting the nut?

I have a 89 hatch with a 87 Dohc zc grey top, I'm running the Si tranny. But when I went to start it up. The starter just makes a wining noise. I know the gear is just spining the starter was working before we did the swap. Is there anythign I could do?. Thanx for the help

Well I'm using the Si tranny, I didn't know It was a 87 till I went to the shop to get my distrubutor check out and he told me It was from a 87. Well I have the motor in there I'm not going to take it out and put a new flywheel in, I just need to find a bigger ping. I'm sure the starter is...

Well I have the 87 ZC in my 89 hatch, I went to start it and the starter just spins. What starter do I have to use to get it to hit the flywheel?

What are the cam caps? But I have the pm7 ecu? I just checked the dist. and it fits so does the rotor. I plug the wires in and they fit all I have to do is wire up the coil for the distributor. I seen the cam caps so I know what your talking about, Like I see no reasion to change the...

Well I have a 89 Si with a 87 ZC in it, The harness hooked up fine. Do you see any problem with me starting it. I heard there is much more wiring involed The only wires I have left is TBC and cam angle sensor. So should I start it? Or will I wreck something. Thanx for the help Matt

Dragjunky what motor mount did you use? I have tryed my stock Si motor mount and it doesn't line up It's to far in the bracket. Thanx for the help.

Well. I just bought Motegi mr7 and was thinking of running Goodyear eagle GTH-R 205/55/R16 Is this a good idea or bad (Go with different tires) I'm getting them for 75 buck Canadian. Thanx for the help

Yo, Man I’m in the same situation I have a Gray valve cover and I thinks it’s 3rd gen how did you get it to bolt up on the driver side mount I had to grind down the stock mount. And it still don’t fit,what did you use? I’m thinking maybe hasport mounts might work, But I would have to see...
