It's the D16a trany with the Dohc Zc,I only tryed for like 10 minutes then I gave open and ever since then I have not touched it.So do I need to get a new tran or No, Cuz that would suck. thanx for the help
I have a 89 civic Si, And I just bout the Zc but the Zc mounting is on the side,Allmost nere the headers. How do I get it to mount up? And there are also 4 hoses coming out of the distributer what is that and what do I do about it?Thanx
Well I haven't done my ZC swap yet,But I think the headers and mufflers are the hardest to get off.Because of the heat and it you live in Canada the salt. But other than that I have not heard of anything.
Ya thanx B18crx,I'm from Ontario and I don't think anyone around here is runnning a ZC so whatever. What about If I put a supercharger or Turbo wouldn't I get the same horse power as a B16a or B18?
I heard about a motor once and I'm just wondering would it work,It's a 2000 honda civic SI-R top with a 2000 GS-R bottom he said it would be pushing like 250 horse's. Would it work?
Ya thanx, But I was just at sunrise motors and seen the B16a it's a Hot motor. But I don't have the cashmoney for that right now.I think the Zc DOHC is cheapest cuz I could of got one (installed)1100 Canadian That's about the best deal I have see.And the motor's only got 50km. But I just need to...
I was just at Sun rise motors and seen a B16a for 1500(50km) Canadian with Tranny and 2 month warrenty (long as you don't Race) If you guy's are from Ontario
H22 isn't that smart,Ya it's 200 horsepower but you could go with a B18c5 GSR motor is runing 195 which will save you Cashmoney. And It's Easier to swap if your doing it yourself.
Well I have a 89 civic Si hatch with 318 km it's burning oil,So I figure why not get a new engine. What would be the easies engine to drop in and what kind of parts would I need? And how much would it cost? thanx for the info
