To tell you the truth it is sitting in the box in my basement and has not been opened. The guy told me it was everything I needed. The mounts on the other hand were just a hair over $300 for the B series cable tranny.
Everything I have read comes to the conclusion that the Injen will out perform most of everything at normal operating temperatures. I wish I could find the dyno results I found on the internet to post them. It showed that Injen would out perform just about anything other then AEM on a cold...
OK I got a '88 CRX and it is time for a new water pump. It is making a horrible noise. I went out and got a OEM replacement and started the project. I had to remove the valve cover to get the top timing belt cover off and once I got that done the damn alternator belt was in the way of my tools...
I got mine from ENjO. I dont have the bookmark anymore but I'm sure you can google it. It was $169 shipped and it was the entire kit. I have not installed it yet but I was going to give it a try. I honestly would not try to rig something up, just spend the money and get a kit. Maybe somebody...

This is the beast I have chosen. I am now almost broke. I hope by late April I can get it done. I went ahead and rebuilt the top end of the engine that is in the beast now just so I can drive it around. I had the head redone...
I got a '88 crx SI and just bought a header for it and plan on installing it this weekend. I also want to replace everything from the header back. I was looking for an exhaust that has a deeper tone to it rather then one that sounds like a monkey farting in a water pipe. Thanks
One more thing I am confused about is how the Vtech will come into play. When I swap the engine do I replace the ECU and the wiring harness that comes with the engine?
Well got a email back from them today and they said they could have it here within a week. I cant order until mid April but its all good. I'm going to take some pic's while I do the project and document what I come across for some future reference.
On a serious note I would like to thank you...
Forgot one thing, the motor mounts. The only ones I could find were made by Avid and they ran for about $325. Is this correct or am I missing something.
On another note I found this place near where I use to work but i was wondering if anybody knew anything about them. I know they have been...
OK this is it I guess:

I could not find the same one around town anywhere so I guess I will have to give them a call and see when they might get one in stock or if I can go ahead and pay for it and wait?
As far as I know...

Just to make sure thus us the ZC you were talking about.
I actually found some of these engines at various places today around Atlanta so it seems like getting one local would not be much of a problem. The B series...
Ok thanks for the reply. Just to sum it up is this the engine that you were talking about before (b16a SiR I):
JDM B16A G1 '88-91 Civic SiR [B16AG1] : JDM-Online.com, JDM Engines & Accessories
So all I will need is the axles from a '90-'93 Integra and the engine mounts? Assuming I bought the...
Probably something to do with the distributor. I had a similar problem one time with the electronic ignition module. I don't know if it was just bad or what but after the car ran for a little while it would get so hot the car would shut off. You could let it sit and sometimes it would start and...
I have a 88 CRX SI and I was hoping to swap motors and replace the thing with a B16A2 series. I have read a bunch of info on the net and have come to the conclusion that I am confused. After reading pages and pages of articles some of them often debunk one another. I am not trying to get all...
