wait a minute, in your earlier reply you said the MAP sensor has to come off the firewall? did i read that right. i know one end is to the TB but what about the other?
ok i got the motor in the car. i have obd0 inj, obd0 dizzy and an obd0 ecu(pr3). i also have the dizzy and inj for the motor but i dont have an ecu for it. how should i have this setup to run just until i can fully convert to obd1?
ok i decided to go back to the a6 injectors since i already have an obd0 ecu (pr3) so when i got done, i went to try and start and it doesnt even crank now!! what gives? it cranked a couple of days ago and now nothin. could be the main relay? isnt it supposed to click a few times? it used to...
i have the z6 injectors. how would the wiring change if dont need the resistor box. and im runnin the dizzy for the z6, what would i have to change to if i changed the ecu
on my tps, i just used the plug off a scrap z6 harness so i wouldnt forget to switch the wires. also there is a gr/yellow and black wire on my harness behind the block, do i run that to the thermostat housing? i am runnin a resistor box. i swapped my buddies box into mine and still didnt do...
yeah i double checked this past weekend. i tore all the wiring apart and followed the instructions carefully but yeah i can take a pic of it and post it tomorrow.
code 5 i believe is the map sensor. is that hooked up? is the red tube coming out of the firewall. hook that to the throttle body. code 2 is a faulty ecu but you said thats not the problem so im sure about that. is the timing right?
ok i checked the injector plugs and there is no power goin to any of them. whats up with that? im pretty sure the main relay is still good. i do get and ecu code 6 but that wouldnt affect it any would it?
i dont know what is wrong but the thing doesnt want to run. it will crank, it has both spark and gas, and im pretty sure the timing is right. the only way i can get it to turnover is when i spray starting fluid down the intake. i dont know what else i can do.
