I have a 90 hatch with a Ls in it and am using a Ls tranny as well with it. Sometimes my car wont go into gear. It does it at cold start and while a have been driving it. It doesnt matter if the tranny is hot or cold. I have checked the clutch cable and checked/changed the tranny fluid. It comes...
I have a 90 hatch with a Ls swap in it and am using a Ls cable type tranny.
My car wont go into gear sometimes and other times it works without any problems. Is it a simple fix will replacing the clutch cable do the trick? Any time i mess with the clutch cable it seems to work.
I had the same problem on my mpfi swap. My set up is an ls with and obdo pr4 ecu and a obdo dizzy. At first i was running a pm8 ecu and everytime i tried using a pm6 or the pr4 it would throw a code 4 also so i swapped distributor with one that i new worked fine and it would still not work...
Want to put ac in my 90 hatch it has a ls swaped in it what compressor do i use what lines? Before anybody says anything i live in TEXAS. Walking from your front door to your car will make you sweat during the summer. When it is 100 degress outside it feels like 120.
With the mild drop you have a majority of any 15x7 wheel will work with the size tire you want to use. I would reccomend ROTA wheels or KOING. They both make many lightweight wheels that look good. Most of Konig's wheels are 15x6.5. I had a 88 CRX Hf and had some 15x6.5 konigs w/ 205/50/15...
You need to do a MPFI conversion. You need to modify your stock harness using a 88-91 Si (or Hf) harness then you need to splice and move some wires on the ecu plugs under your passenger carpet. This website will give you directions on how to do that.
MPFI Swap
Because you have a DUAL POINT civic you cant do a plug and play with the integra engine harnees or an 88-91 Si engine harness. You have to take your stock engine harness and modify it to accept 4 injectors. Do do this you need your stock engine harness and a 88-91 Si harness plus the injector...
I agree go Ls youll need engine w/cable tranny of course B-series mounts, axles, and a shift linkage thats made for your swap. 1500 should be enough to cover that. Depending where you live Ebay is your best bet.
Best thing to do first is a DUAL POINT to MULTI POINT SWAP it will make your life easier. I have a B18a1 swap in my 90 hatch it was a Dual point but i converted it into a Multi point. Here is a website i got my info from i used it to do my friends conversion. You can also use this website...
I just swapped a B18a1 into my 90 hatch. When i turn it on in the mornings it idles high 3000 rpms. After it warms up it idles up and down between 1000 and 2000 rpms i am using a 91 integra ecu. The ecu is not throwing any codes so unsure what it is i have checked my vaccum lines they seem...
I just recently did a mpfi swap on my 90 std hatch (w/stock engine)i am still having two problems.
1st one is if i use any other ecu besides a pm8 i get a code 4 which i have reserched is a CPS problem. I tried using a pm6,pg7,& a pr4 all obdo. I dont get this problem at all if i use the pm8...

I have a 90 hatch std w/mpfi conversion done already and want to do a mini me swap. i have a d16z6 head and wanted to know if i could use a d16y7 block? If i can do i have to run oil to the vtec solenoid (like ls/vtec)? Is it just like doing a regular mini me swap or is there more to it? What is...
I have a 90 hatch std and i convereted to MPFI all wiring is done correctly. When i plug in a PG7 or PM6 ecu i get a code 4 (cps) on the ecu. If i plug in my old CRX Hf ecu PM8 i get no codes and it runs fine. Could i have the incorrect distributor. Is there a difference between a CRX Hf dist...
