make a decision on power goals and set a budget and decide if it will be your dd or not. from there u can decide if u need to go b or d series. and since u mentioned boost, definitely consider a turbo d16 swap on the same labor/cost scale as a b series swap. for the cost of a b18c motor...

imo, your power goal is not unreasonable at all. in fact if youre going to a competent tuner(and i have to assume u are due to the higher-end parts list), 300whp should be pretty easy to find. however, on a stock bottom end, at that output, expecting to get 2 or more reliable years as a dd is...
