do you have a manual ecu? if not may have fried ecu

switches burn vtec up i tried it 10 yrs ago i have p28 in our da with same motor you need to pin ecu for vtec to get it running

most things will change over use p28 chipped and tuned for motor works the best

only dif between 2a and 2 b is second o2 clip is dif any 2 harness will work usdm gsr, si

hassport does and obd2 is crap u cant tune the ecu

o ya if it's a jdm motor you can't use harness cuz it's for right hand drive car so everything is backwards

if motor is obd2 you need to use your old injectors , a 94-96 altinator dizzy wires are same just diff plug you can cut the plug off old dizzy solder wires to new dizzy, you need a 92-95 motor harness or a 92-06 gsr harness you can have a p28 ecu chipped with base map for b18.... p28 is out...
