    ^ I know but you are doing a reverse LS Vtec so you still need the LS Vtec dowel pins. The B18c block and LS head have different sized dowel pins so you use the LS Vtec ones and turn them up side down. Yeah 404s will be great and will still idle well if tuned right.

    It would be cheaper and easier to just get a good motor or bottom end. You may up spending the money to check the block and find out it is no good anyways. OEM head bolts are good to 200whp.

    Never heard of a B16C, must be that super race motor Honda never made. I saw a video with a red EF hatch trying to blow the D16 up. That was cool, they ran it with no oil or coolant and it even caught fire, got put and and still ran! Wow go Honda go lol.

    You will have to have the whole bottom end checked. Hydro locking a motor can bend rods, crack the sleeves or block, damage pistons.... Looks like the head could you a good cleaning and inspection as well. FYI if you hydro lock shut off the car right away, hopefully this will save the motor...

    P30 or P73 pistons on a balanced bottom end is my plan. But the stage 2 cams will be fine on my stock bottom end, yea higher compression will make the most out of them for sure. I may be trading my Del Sol to Superior Racing Development for a built high compression bottom end in late Feb.
