Here is the distrib., the cap inside, and the piece that i said was broken off woundering is it fixable?

How do i check the distributer? I took the cap off and the black circular peace that goes over a gear is not held in place by anything....im woundering is that bad? PLEASE HELP i am getting pictures right now to post.

so the valve cover is NOT chrome it has ben painted over..?

the manual that i have i tried the troubleshooting area but to no avail, i think im going to just to a mini me swap and hope with all those changes that will fix the problem

yah after i pur the fuel rail back on it spreyed fuel (i didnt put the rail on thght enough) everywhere. when i went to tighten it i noticed that the bolt that stud up fromt the many. was broken off. now i have a whole nother problem. do i need to replace the whole many. or can i replace the...

i put a little bit of gas in the cylinders....and put new plugs, and wires, it started up for a little bit then shut off. but there was fuel in the fuel rail, and the fuel pressure valve HAD pressure when i went to check it (it went psssht) so im assuming pressure right....

no it never over heated....just stoped working.

It was low when i bought it, so i put in 3 fresh quarts, so now it is above the line on the dipstick

Everything is conected, all the fuses are fine, the dristributer is fine (i do get spark) so hummmm. I took off the fuel reail and cleand the injectors. When i was puting it back to gether the bolt that comes up from the intake mani broke off. So i have 2 that can be bolted on, but the last one...

It turns over, it gets spark, and it had fuel pressure. (I released the fuel pressure valve and it went pssst. so assumingly id does i need to check pump...it is on the list. after i put the injectors back in. There was still fuel in the fuel rail so im not sure where to go from there.

How would you go about checking the fuel pump? I know to listen buy the fuel door when it is turned to acc..... but that is the only way that i know how to look.

Will the 91 parts (assumingly they would) fit on a 90 si hatch...b/c i am interested in the headlights. Do you have a picture? What parts for the motor do you have, what kind of upgrades?
