is it the h22 tho? he didnt say anything about it being vtec....and with a turbo on the h22(if it is a h22, tho im not saying it isn't) he will need hondata of something to tune the vtec for the turbo.......

HEY blackJDm......i have a h22a as well...but i bought mine with my car...lol...and i have 2500$...and in the next 3 weeks i will have over 3000, and im planning on turboing. How much better would a H23 tranny do mated witha h22 tranny, and what is the cost of this? the longer geared ratio...

i think it should with some work....pretty good choice of motor...nice and cheap..plentiful torque...and good hp....overall a great choice..plus it has a huge aftermarket support...and u can allways switch it to vtec witha new oil line and head

so when u take the h23 motor....and swap the head From a h22..u basically have a h22 motor with mostly h23 internals or what? what is the hp rated at after this......this sounds like a great idea, and really cheap too...why havent more people done this?...i have heard of it but never really...
