Fuel injector code...probally a fuel injector problem. Did you use the obdo injectors when you put the b7 in? Are all your injector clips on snug, resistor box plugged up? Is your regulator bad...just a few places id start looking. Good luck

On a 1990??? Cable man, cable. When i broke my axle the car did what you are desribing so it may be one of your axles popped out...not good if it did you would be leaking oil.
In case this guy never got the answers he was looking for.... Theres two ways to do a MPFi conversion. One you can hack up your dx harness like someone has done or two, you can swap the whole dash and engine harness. Regardless of what anyone says the whole harness isnt that bad and can be done...

Ive put a header on a car and it starter leaning and turning the plugs whiter...by having a regulator i could turn the pressure up and even out the air/fuel...its simple. What ecu u have has nothing to do with fuel pressure, but controls the injector pulse. the pressure on the injector isnt...
