k i have a si tranny in my rex and it is on its last leg.
i cant find a si tranny for a replacement.
there is a used 1.5 tranny that the guys at jmd imports have but i was wondering
what that will do for power. this is my autox car and my second gear redlines at about 30mph what does a dx second...
thanks ill try setting it before running the car. but i wish i knew how much my machinist took off the head and block. do you have a pdf for the compression differences with a milled head ?
ok so my 89 rex has a sohc zc {d16a6} and i recently did a full rebuild on it.
new pistons, rings , bored to 76mm head and block surfaced bearings the works
now when i go to put the timing belt on it doesn't line up so i bought a adjustable cam gear and made it work but how much would the...

ok well this is a noob question but i just bought courbeau 3" camlock harnesses and i cant figure out the where i'm sposed to to mount them on the frame. cant seem to find any pics or posts or anything on the subject anything would be helpful thanks.......
k so i have a 89 CRX Si with a sohc zc which i just got done doing a full rebuild on.
My only problem is that before i rebuilt it my tranny mount broke and slammed my TPS sensor against my firewall snapping it in half so i went to the salvage yard and got the throttle body and a tps plug for a...
Well i really like autocross but i would like to smoke some little punks out at the weekend drags i can make this car just my track car but would perfer to make it steetable if at all possibe. i also want to consider going n/a because of the weight and was wondering what a reasonable hp goal for...
ok well what am i looking at for parts for 400hp because i thought that 300 would be a good goal but another 100 hp is always nice. what kind of block reinforcement would be good for both goals. another thing i wanted to know was how is a sohc zc head going to perform with a turbo set up and...
do you know who makes a d manifold for the gt28 because i cant find one and another i was wondering what you think about th t3/t4 turbos for this motor i have heard that they work well?
so i'm guessing that all the a6 pistons will work? and since i'm turboing it would u recommend a z6 head or would you keep it with the zc head. Also what would be a good turbo for a goal of 300whp. this is an all autocross car and do you have any other suggested parts for that goal
ok well i have a sohc zc that i want to turbo. this motor is burning oil pretty bad so i figure if i get new valve guides and piston rings that would solve that problem but my step father mentioned that the cylinder walls may be to warn to just put stock pistons in so i might have to bore it.I...

well my crx came with a sohc zc in it and i was wondering if i could put a dohc zc head on the or a d16a1 head on the sohc block or if there is even a difference in the zc sohc/dohc blocks?
This might be a dumb question but i think its worth asking.OK i have two crxs and they both came with sohc zc motors in them and my local auto salvage yard has a d16a1 dohc head and i was wondering if i could pull the sohc off of one of my motors and put that head on it with the longer timing belt?
