I got to thinking about it and I most likely will drop tha Prelude front end and do tha B16 swap. I dont want to sacrafice hp for looks plus I want DOHC not SOHC.

If youre on a budget keep tha D16. Id go with tha B16 kuz its more powerful. Then upgrade tha internals, you know, pistons, cams, and what not then slap on a turbo. Maybe a T3?

If I do the D16 VTEC swap, will the Civic mounts fit?

Maybe. You need to find tha right manifold and make sure it sits low in tha engine bay.

Ok due to clearance issues with the Prelude hood Im thinking of doing a D16Y8 swap. Just need the mounts and VTEC harness. Plus I want to swap the auto to a 5-speed. I know Im going to need the mounts, brackets, linkage, clutch and what not for that swap. Any help is appreciated.

CRX Si No H-Series parts are not interchangeable with B-Series parts. Try other B-Series motors as mentioned above. Not sure on where to find parts 4 a car that old. try junkyards or have parts custom made.

A20a1 Ya my Accord is carb'd. Very slow. Also I prefer the 88 Prelude front end. Better style. I also want to show that Accords, especially the older ones, have balls

I just bought an 88 accord and i want to swap in either a b16 or b18 and swap my front end for a 3rd gen prelude front end. any suggestions?

H22 I Strongly recommend AGAINST the H22A because of its size. It will virtually drag which will cause headaches. Also, unless you are gonna build the H22, then its not worth it. I suggest either a B16 or B18.
