I got a ZC ECU (PM7) from HMotorsonline for $175. This is the best computer for the swap. Except maybe the SiR, but I can't imagine it being good enough for the money.

If by 2nd gen you mean the EF3, its OBD 0 and has the same mounts as USDM civic. If by 2nd gen you mean '71 civic I dont know what the hell your talking about. If by 2nd gen you mean the '92-95 ZC motor then I must assume it's OBD 1 and I believe it also has EF mounts.

Update: All the wiring is right and the ECU functions perfectly in a JDM Si. Has anyone heard of the Crank Angle Sensor going bad (I get a code 4)? Anyother ideas as to whats wrong?

Thanx for pointing out that stupid ass error. The point is that Illuminas are adjustable for stiffness. Firm = less roll and weight transfer but more bumps, Soft = craptastic handling but comfy ride. I like versatility. The more a car is capable of the better. Balance is key.

the idle is smooth and sounds good but as soon as I give it throttle it back fires and struggles to get up to speed. I've had my wiring checked over a few times and I've tried the TPS wires and EACV wires both ways. I don't know what the hell is wrong.

Fuel tuning is good however, w/o actual reinforcement in the block, you shouldn't go over 8psi. Get sleeves or post it and then turn the boost up to 15 :)
