high flow cats dont quiet your exhaust. i have a magnaflow setup with a ceramic high flow cat no res. and 2.5 inch piping, its loud as all hell. if you want performance with a little sound flowmasters are great. imho straight through mufflers are the way to go for the best performance.

better shifting and a lot faster acc. im switching to a b20v and im going to put the same setup in.

i have min. mods in my ex z6 i run a regular act street clutch heavy pressure plate and matched it with the prolite flywheel. i love it, it made a very noticable diff.

bite the bullet and pull your tranny i agree it sounds like pres plate.

same thing happened to me just to knock it off the list of poss. as stupid as it sounds gets some good jumpers and jump the battery. you easily could have shorted a regulator/blown a link in the starting system anything, at least this will narrow your search. mine was a dead cell in the battery...
