    Replacing dash in a CRX

    I'm replacing the dash in my 88 CRX DX (its cracked and broken) with the dash from a 91 CRX Si. My question is the wiring harness on the 91 Si compatible with my 88 DX? is it just plug and play or do I need to transfer the dash harness from the old DX to the new Dash? Thanks.

    Its expensive for sure, but then you get what you pay for. If you want to run OEM Honda cams then the 06 TSX cams are the best choice with an RBC manifold.

    No idea if the TSX header will work or not, I used a swap specific header for a K-series EG, K-Tuned's 4-1 Race header for about $500, but they do also sell a budget header for around $350. If you still want to use the TSX header then you should search around on K20a.org to see if it'll work...

    you may need an adapter plate to bolt your TB to the RBC manifold, Karcepts sells them. Karcepts Engineered Solutions - RBC Solutions Skunk2 makes a 70mm TB for the RSX as well.

    The wiring should be similar to putting an OBD1 H22a into a CRX, so that would be a good place to start searching. You'll have to do an OBD conversion and wire VTEC of course.

    well a VTEC head will always net you more hp since it flows better, but there are plenty of FI non-VTEC motors making good power. Non-VTEC motors are supposed to be easier to tune, but since I've got no experience tuning motors don't quote me on that. Personally I'd go with the VTEC motor.
