i have swaped 3 different distributors out.put a new fuel pressure regulator on.and still nothing.it will just sit there and turn over and over.it has spark.

well i have the motor in its a sohc zc motor and i have wireed exactly like shown on the diagram and the motor will not start.and the ecu is flashing 8 times witch in the chilton says its "tdc position".i was told to put a new distributor on so i did and it's still blinking the same code.we did...

well i ordered the 1.6 sohc zc since i found out about the obdo it was accually going to cost me $350 more for the dohc zc.at a glance what is the difference in the 88-91 and 92-95 zc sohc?i just want to be shure i have the rite motor when it arrives and i inspect it.

thanks for the info guys.at the tigerjapanese site the zc dohc motor says civic/crx years 92-95 well 91 was the last year the crx was made.i guess it would still fit?

how about the a/c unit also bolt right on?motor mounts ect.if so i think you may have talked me into the dohc

i have the 1.5 sohc dpfi in it now.need a direct bolt on for the tranny as it is in good shape.the motor in it runs great but since i put 17's on it man is it slow.the 1.5 i have is like 85hp and the sohc 1.6 is 120hp and the dohc zc is 129hp from what i have read.but it's $100 difference...

what does everyone think is it worth the extra $ to get the dohc vs the sohc zc non v-tech?
