Any Idea if the automatic cluster will work/fit in 89-91 ef hatchback like stock? What I mean is do you know (or anyone else reading this) if it would be a direct swap for one w/out the tach? If it is a direct swap how much shipped to 35209?

Here's an old school mustang trick. Turn the selector switch on the impact to tighten the bolt. Hit the trigger few times, then turn selector to loosen and pull the trigger. Presto-chango bob's your uncle.

another thought, did you bleed the air out of the system when you put new coolant in? It stands t0 reason (atleast to me) that the reason you don't overheat while the defrost is on is because you're bleeding off excess heat from the system allowing it to stay cool.
