So apparently it's common for the 2nd and 4th gear to blow in the honda b series trans, because of the ratio and load. I just blew my 4th gear. I had it heat treated to make it stronger and it still shattered...Does any one have any suggestions:confused:

Nice numbers! you might want to get bigger injectors though, running lean is never good. screw the haters and last i checked 224whp outta single cam is very decent...i'd be more concerned with the ebay waste gate sticking and turbo manifold cracking, their known for that..

with 150k on the engine I would be concerned with the head (springs and retainers) new valve seals, if you had a good tune you could probably run 10psi, your piston rings may be the first thing to go cause of the high miles not because their stock. Your stock bottom end should hold up to close...

go with at least 1200cc injectors you can always lean em out it's better then buying bigger and bigger injectors later....

if your not on a strict budget do the ls vtec sleeved and girdled or use a deckplate erl performance makes good stuff that might help save you some money, buying turbo kits is alright but custom building the turbo kit is better i think it all depends on what you want, if your goal is 300whp you...

no worry's....i'm not a complete tool i'm doing my intake mani throttle body fuel rail and injectors in a couple weeks along w/ a hondata spacer/gasket...hondata s300 next month turbo and intercooler to follow i'm just clueless on how the ratings go on injectors and turbos...if you follow
