dont be cheep get a zc...you will be more happy with it than anything else..hell i got a zc in my del sol and i beat b16 crxes, hatches whatever with just i.h.e.
15.2@92mph not bad for a del sol......please visit thezcr.com for more info
if you have an hf and use any other tranny you have to change the spindles for the axels...if not you will never get an axel to fit or operate correctly
change it from dpfi to mpfi and use the intake mano from the zc and at the very least get a vafc and run your vtec
or just get a chip in that dx and get a vafc AT THE VERY LEAST!!!! you need something to get that fuel up and find away to get more rpms or your car will be a bucket
there are zc's that are 1.5...its the equivalent to the d16a6 with a lil more hp...there is also a 1.5 zc with vtec as well..now...this is what you cannot do...use a DOHC bottom end and an sohc head with out modification...and vise versa....thezcr.com ownes all
well i do alot of night driving so i have them on all the time and the blink...i do this in hoping that it gives more light to my car so big mother truckers can see me
h22 del sol....there is a nsx motor in the ass of a del sol....maybe a k-series in the ass of a del sol someplace?lol......
like i said if you want to KEEP B-SERIES...use the 2000 crv front trans with an s2k rear diff...custom in between but that would be the MOST LOGICAL for the b-series
i work at acura here in cincy...the RL is awesome...if you dont believe in honda making a well designed awd system....go to your acura dealer and take one for a test drive
crv is a good idea....but that is reeal time awd and only works when teh fronts slip so...its kinda out of the question....
i was thinking about the zc but i have a bunch of sohc vtec's sittin around that will be fine...i believe supercharging would be the most effectve way to harness the power...
as the winter turns i am bored with the common. I have started to look into transfering parts from the 88-91 wagon 1.6l to teh 88-91 crx si.
problems: the rear dif can only hold about 130 hp to the wheels
the drive axel is floppy and THIN
the linkage is different...
correct the kid cant drive but his car is now tunned and i am confadent that, that del sol will run at least a 14 something.
bullshit card....got to love it
well i dont know what you have but on a couple d-series forums i have seen ppl getting low times in d-series.....12's,11's... you also have to look at the weight here. it plays a major role in the race d-series and b-series. As far as "you can only go so far in a d-series"...tell that to ppl on...
yes i think it is "big" because i am going to try to do it in a del sol with a d15b7...i have never herd of anyone getting a low 15 with that motor in a del sol n/a...
breaking gaskets was ment befor i start taring the engine apart to get machine shit done
