the del sol v-tec and the 99 si are the same. i have a sir-II and replaced it with a 99 si. compared the one out of the del sol with the one that came out of the sir-II it was the exact same pump. i dont know which one you need. probably for the sir-I

OH yea where is the oil leaking from? which side of the motor? it is common for the oring that seals the distributor to leak. just a thought before you take the head off. Clean it off real good and then recheck it...seen it quite a few times

it is for the purge solenoid. if you are using the jdm p30 ecu it doesn't look for it and it is not necesary. if you have no cel your good to go

you should have a iat in your manifold....if it is the sir-II it is located on the top of the manifold. If it isnt there you will have a hole in the manifold and you will definately have a cel on. and yes it will effect performance

well i know this sound stupid but when i did my swap the connector for the map and tps were the same and i had them swapped....my car did the same and your describing.. try swapping them....just a suggestion

if you are going to go to the trouble of resleeving a block get new rods too. make it bullet proof....pistons are a must cause bore size will change. changing stroke changes displacement by the travel distance of the piston, by rod length and crank. just resleeve it and replace piston and...

sorry i didn't state manual tranny fluid. It is motor craft syn fluid.. it says is is for the focus. So no harm could be done. How often should i change it out?

are you getting a check engine light? run codes and see what its spittin

you dont need a conversion harness unless you are changing obd-II to obd-I. but it does have a knock sensor on the ex model. use that harness. when you get the motor just make sure it is obd-II.

waste of time and money. but if your lookin for something different. post pics if ya do it cause i've never seen it done. Stick with a b-series, drops right in, lots of power potential.
