yup the pr3. it would be the same as the itr minus the internals but i was just wondering what it would make with teh stock b16 head to see what platform i would be building from.
i just want to know what power a stock b16 head and a stock c5 bottom end will make.
then i want to know what a stock b16 head and a c1 bottom end will make witha stroker kit (jun looks good) i want to know this b/c i might do this if it's equalivant to the h22 stock b/c it's a better fit.
thanks
yeah i agree with both of you. i really like the h22 b/c i know someone who has one and that thing is fast! lol uh well i was going to go after market on the build up. teh type s is only 20hp more. i want to keep it all motor though. i'm not really one for boost or spray. also i plan on putting...
forgot to say.... the reason i'm wanting to do the b16,gsr setup if i dont do the h22 is b/c i know a guy who has a b16 head with toda b spec cams and valvetrain, port and polish with a stock itr bottom end not stroked (stock) and he's running conssitant 12's. 12.6s. so i figured if it were...
yeah thats another thing i was wondering wich would be fast stock. i always figured that the h22 would be faster b/c of torque and has power through out the rpms.
i said itr b/c i was told that it was a stronger block wich i dind't think it was any different then the gsr so i'll stick with the...
ok i've been wanting to do an h22 for some time b/c of torque and just instant power. now i know it's a little tough to swap and takes some time but it's worth it imo. on the other hand i was thinking....what kind of hp would a stock b16a head with a itr bottom end make with a jun or toda...
ok i have a dx hatch and i've read that it redlines at 7200 and like 6800? wich is right? also i was told that the shifting is 36, 62, 92mph since it doesn't have a tach and i dont know if i should try that lol. so i put a autmeter tach in since i had it laying around until i get an eg6 cluster...
ok i looked and i had a link but i lost it and now i forgot how to do it. i have a 92dx hb and i'm putting a autometer monster tach in. i remember something about the blue wire on the driverside of the engine bay but i dont remember what wire goes ect. i need help asap.
thanks again for any help
yeah they are 14" i just like them b/c not to many people have them in gumetal. i plan on getting some circ 8's soon enough. that brings another question up. what are your thoughts on 15" and 16" wheels? is there really that much of a diff?
i want to know what brakes i can fit with my hx wheels. my wheels are gunmetal and look good imo and they are light also so why not keep them right? what aftermarket brakes can i fit though? should i just get some 15" circ 8's?
guys all motor for me. see i can't decide what to do for my setup. the b16 is cheap to get and i've seen them done correctly and can make power. i wanted to stroke or bore b/c of the fact that it lacks torque. either that or get a b16a head and get a itr bottom end and do that but idk b/c idk if...
ok i've looked and read and i can't find the same thing anywhere. i want to know what the deal is with the b16 stroke. can it be made to 2.1 like the b18c? i know that they have kits for 1.8 or 1.9? i'm looking for 2.1 lol
thanks for any help
yeah i've read it but i'll check again. the car is a 92 dx hb and if course its obd1 so maybe the b16 would be better since i will upgrade everything.
thanks for the help, anymore is always good
ok heres the deal. i just picked up a ls longblock and i'm going to drop it in when i get the rest of the parts. my question is about the head. i was thinking an itr would be best for the power and valve train ect. but i heard that i shuold just get the b16a head? whats the deal? if someone...
actually i plan on selling the bottom end and getting a b18c bottom before i even put it it so i think htats hte new plan.
