i can get a b16a xsi for 1799.00 and a b18c1 for 3199.00. both are complete swaps and have everythnig i need but what would be a better setup? the b16 xsi is 170hp compared to the normal sir wich is 160hp and if course we all know the b18c1 so yeah the 10hp difference is a waste of money to me...

IMO i think you should just get the itr pistons, ecu. cams, im, and port and polish the head!! waho!!! yeah!! would be nice if you have the cash.

ok i had to ask b/c i keep reading about people arguing this. ls/vtec setups with a high rev. all i want to know is this......is it possible to have an ls/vtec setup to rev to 8k or higher? maybe 9k? if course i'm talking about a built motor with high comp and new rods, valvetrain work ect...

IMO the LS/vtec is an awesome setup b/c of the torque. i have a few friends that have it and it's amazing. you would be really happy with the results of the setup. the d series boosted is also good IF IT'S BUILT RIGHT but i still think the ls/vtec would be better just b/c of torque. goodluck...
