yes drain the transmission fluid. The fill plug is higher than the differential. You will lose too much.. idk on my B16 I could get the alternator out without removing anything else if I wanted it seems.

I always say, keep the stock tire diameter. If you get plus size rims, get low pro tires that give you the same size diameter the original wheels had. Maybe some suspension work? Springs/shocks? Coilovers?

replace the crank pully. any imbalance in that pully and your going to ruin your motor. get a properly balanced crank pully, not some aftermarket junk. OEM or a fluid damper one maybe. even if you don't have bearing issues now, i'm sure they will develop if you have an unbalanced crank pully...
