i am buying either a b16 or gsr and wondering which clutch to go with? i am debating right now on the centerforce duo, or an excedy clutch. what clutches have you people had that were great??
thanks man.. i'll take some time to think about it. i also want a reliable ride. i dont think pushing 400 whp out of the D series would be the most reliable. i will be very happy with reliable 250-300 whp.
yeh i will also think about keeping the d-series but like i said its got 220 000 kms on it and its going to be coming out anyways so i can paint the engine bay
yeh man.. i'lll look into b16's and see what i can get them for. my buddy gets really good prices on motors and stuff. i think 2900 for a complete GSR swap with LSD tranny is a very good price
cool thanks guys. i'll keep doing my research and make my decision. sort of leaning towards the GSR mainly because i think i will enjooy it more for the couple months or so that its not turbo'd
wow thats crazy... actually i have to take my motor out and paint my engine bay n e ways so i may aswell thorw a b-series in it. i think 2900 for the complete swap with Lsd tranny is pretty good. for a gsr anyways. and my D-series has like 220 000 kms
holy didn't kno you could get 250 out of the d-series lol, i should just say screw the swap and boost the shit out of my D series lol..i can get a full GSR swap for 2900 with lsd tranny and B16 for about 5 or 6 hundred less. im just wondering what would be the better engine, and i will be...
yeh thats my goal 250 whp... like i said tho wut i am debating on is using a B16a2 or b18C1.. as i said the swap is being done beofre spring and then prolly not boosting it until mid or late summer. so right now im more worried about what engine i should get..
which swap to go with
hey everyone, im just debating weather i want to do a b16 or b18c1 swap into my 93 civic si coupe. i plan to boost this motor in the near future. what do you think the better engine would be???
