OH! Also we tested a 92 hatchback with the gsr motor and lightened the car to 1900 lbs. It runs about as fast as a 911 on a road course. This car can fly. Most Honda Challenge guys use the b18c1 and good suspensions. I don't know what you want to do but having a car that can out perform a...
I look into swaps all the time to, but have come to find out the B18's are the best. The H22's are heavier and are harder to find the better parts for. It is also more expensive. We have 3 B18B motors and are looking for B18C motors. GSR is the way to go. That motor will run you about $3K...
Who knows or has any advice with the ECU game?
They range from $1200-$6000. Who knows what's what.?
Which is the best system to race with is the question and which is the easiest to work the program with the least amount of hassle.
Thanks
I'd agree with LS/Vtec
I'd think the best bang for you dollars is a 92-95 civic hatchback with a gsr/type R motor. They are great cars that have so much power and will kick the crap out of any car honda makes if you like to mess with the engines.
Light/Power and very easy to make 500 horse...
it's a simple question. Do you have a Car Dealership license? Or a Dismantler License? In other words for the idoits!
If you have a shop or a dealer respond. If not, don't. Bush League Fuckers.
Does anyone in this website have a dealer license or dismantler license?
If your in FL,GA,NC,CA not needed. These states don't require one but all others do. Need help.
Thanks
UnTrue.. We race the shit out of the stock LSD. No problems EVER. We even had the SPEED CHALLENGE cars tell us the Quaife is really no different. It ain't just me but I know for a fact the LSD in the GSR and Type R will do for any application your looking to do. RACE PROVEN. And $400...
Just to help. Quaife is nothing more than a slight mod off the LSD in your stock acura's. Check out HELICAL on ebay and japandy is your man. Just make sure you know which helical to get. We got it for a great price. $300-$400. If you look at Quaife your looking at least double those...
Yes we are gutted. We are trying to get the car to 2000 lbs. We haven't touched the motors. We are going to start soon. I am in the process of finding the best solutions for the best price rather than screwing up and paying for it. The LS/Vtec is the first thing we'll do. The second is to...
The LS block can give you the most cc's. I thought this was as important as the vtec. Because the first rpm that the vtec kicks in, can be a long wait. Torque and Vtec is what makes racing tracks awesome. Coming out of the turn with torque (LS) is faster than a GSR hands down but after that...

we did 322 laps or 644 miles. Due to rain and a stop for lighting.
last year we did 432 or 864 miles.
we broke left front studs which made us miss about 35 minutes.
we tested a hatchback civic with a GSR motor which did great. 361 laps and the ECU got wet. Once...
Has this compo been tried?
1990-91 Prelude si Block
Vtec B16 head
What is the suggestion of what combo is the best for reliable power for a race car for 12 hour endurance racing?
We use a 1994 Integra RS motor and it works great but we need the vtec power.
