    Ls/gsr

if you have the gsr internals, yes they'll fit inside the ls block, to keep things simple, use gsr rods with the gsr crank and ls rods with the ls crank if you're gonna use either of those or else you need to visit a machine shop

    crank

yes a type r crank (ctr or itr) will work in an ls block just remember to get the rods to match the crank, the stroke will change, with the itr it'll change a only a little (ls R/S ratio 1.54, gsr/itr R/S ratio 1.58) the ctr crank and rods combo will give you a big change to 1.84 an ideal r/s...

    91 Integra swap advice?

    1. yes you can convert it to vtec, easily, yes reliable it can be if you take the right precautions, i.e. new rod bolts, and understanding that it wasn't meant to rev insanely high, in my opinion doing a ls/vtec isn't worth it unless you're going to build it more then just stock internals...

    B16 turning to B18 ?

well thats the thing no one really knows with the b16b what the internals are (length wise) its speculated that its a b16a crank (77.4mm) inside a b18c5 short block (deck height) the c5's stroke is 87.2mm the difference in stroke throw is (87.2 - 77.4 )/2= 9.8 mm / 2 = 4.9 mm The b18c5 has...

    B16 turning to B18 ?

b18c internals will not fit inside a b16 block, the deck height (hight of the block) is different between the b16's and the b18's, if you wanted to use a b18c crank you will need custom length rods to make it all fit, and most likely you'll have to notch the block too

    lsvtec crank... help

yea thats true, but he just asked if it could be used in the block, and really ls/vtec is a bad name for the type of build, because technically to make it a true ls/vtec you'd have to keep the shitty ls pistons, making it a terrible all motor build

    lsvtec crank... help
