was it running and just quit or what? the correct ECU is PM7 - you said you replaced the distributor - did you get the spark plug wires in the correct locations on the distributor? no. 1 is at top, no. 3 is at front toward radiator, no. 4 is at bottom and no. 2 is at rear toward firewall
you do need some way to control the ignition timing - we tried using the 86-87 Integra D16A1 vacuum advance distributor but it didn't work very well - couldn't get enough advance
you need to use the engine wiring harness that was on your D16A6 and make any necessary wiring changes to it - engine wiring harnesses are not interchangeable
looks like you have a SOHC ZC that was converted to Dual Point Fuel Injection using the original intake manifold that was on the original D15B2 engine - the distributor on the DPFI engine should not have a round 7-wire connector - it should have a rectangular 5 wire connector, as the DPFI...
I believe you will find that the D15Z1 head on the non-VTEC D15B will result in a compression ratio of about 12.5:1 - the JDM non-VTEC D15B is basically the same engines as the USDM D15B7
actually, my wiring guide is correct if you are using the OEM Honda distributor - if you have an aftermarket distributor, a lot of them have the Blue/Green and Blue/Yellow wires swapped inside the distributor with the B/G going to where the B/Y should be and the B/Y going to where the B/G should...
which axles you use is determined by the transmission and front hubs - has nothing to do with the engine - with the stock transmission and stock front hubs, you use the stock axles
