maybe you cracked a ring and have blowby and what not...its not necessary to burn oil when the ring cracks...i mean i blew 2 pistons and NO smoke

well the place im taking it to get the head port and polished i have to drive to, so i figured, put in the new pistons and break them in for that couple hour drive, then when he takes the head off, buy all the gaskets then...why buy new ones now and then replace after 500 or so miles.

honda's (my b18c1) comes with a metal headgasket right? if so you can reuse just like the ones for a supra (what i used to have). right now i dont really have the cash on hand to go get some gaskets...but ill be port and polishing the head so ill break in the pistons before i do the head and...

nothing beats OEM rings as they are tested MANY times to prevent blowby and oil leak. people may argue but like i said..tested MANY times and its a waste of money to get higher grade metal as it all works the same..

buying CTR pistons and they dont come with rings....so where is a good place to get OEM rings?

well, did a compression test. numbers 1 and 2 (starting by the distributer) came up to be 190 to 200 and 3 and 4 are at 0. guess i blew em good huh?

im going to do a compression test on each piston...what should it be? 180 to 200?

put water into a bigger pot over the stove, and at first soak the white rice....then steam it..pretty much put it into a nother pan and place THAT over the bigger pot with water...walla steamed rice

did you get the turbo pistons? if so do they come with rings? and what engine will they fit in, like they will fit in my b18c1 right? how much you asking?

Im looking at getting a new head. what or where could i find a stock b18c1 head OR what is an upgraded to the b18c1? know of where i can get one? what would be the best way to do this as my current head broke a valve or 2

Broke couple valves on mine. i have a b18c1 so hopefully someone has a stock one or even something that is an upgrade to the b18c1 head. thanks a bunch.

Yeap, went to the track today (sunday) and well, my first run, shot nitrous, and after the 1/8th mile it started to dog..really bad, so i turned in the turn around and parked and she stalled. checked my spark plugs and all the electrodes melted away...every single one of them. and now it...

grab some duct tape and tape some of that sh!t up, she'll run like new...look good too. LOL at least that rim isnt bend or cracked...

the HP was 10hp off and 12ft-tq off when we tested it here on a honda and that was on a dyno as well. when we ran the quater mile time it hit it .36 off so IMO its very accurate if you want something do a quick find on your HP, TQ, and 1/4
