d16z6 is one of the easiest swaps into an ef. if you dont have emissions testing then yeah pull the evap canister out. take the firewall mounted map sensor off since its on the TB now.
it should come off with lil force. my d series i had to use a pry bar very carefully to wiggle it off. i damaged the oil pump a bit but thats what i was replacing anyways
i swapped trailing arms from a 99 gsr (or so i was told they were from) onto my 90 civic dx hatch. theyve been working great but lately ive noticed a bearing moaning on the highway. well i bought 2 new hub assemblies gor a 99 gsr. ive installed the drivers side with no problems but the passenger...
well it may need to be rebuilt anyways...and having them install an lsd while its apart wouldnt be a bad idea. def worth it...id get a quaife. theyre really good
well i mean i just went into my garage...took obd 0 clips i cut off my 90 si when i did my swap and attempted to clip them on the obd 1 injectors on my d16y....dont fit
are you talking about the backlight on the cluster going out? or did you swap in a diff one? the ef cluster uses a speedo cable, a blown fuse wouldnt cause it to stop working
what do you have?? obd1 engine? the fan switch on obd 0 is located near the oil filter and on obd1 its on the thermostat housing and its a diff type of sensor
