The accord belt will not work, it'll be too long. I'm sure someone else has done this and they could tell you what lenght to use. If you still have the old belt and its not destroyed use it to measure for what the new belt would be.
If you have a 94 connector try that first, cause it will be the easiest to do. If that doesn't work then you'll need to try the 97 speed sensor, make sure to get one that does not have power steering assist.
I've been checking back everyday, and there are alot of others on here that can help with check engine codes, They are probably better at that than I am. So just let us know. And good luck.
Not a limp mode, I just meant drive the car easy. Running the accord ecu it should run lean but maybe not. So if you have no check engine lights I'd head to get the emmisions done and then once you get your conversion harness you'll be good to go. Oh just a note my h22 runs best at 12.0 to 12.5...
ok I did the same thing you have done here with my car (aside from yours being jdm, but that doesn't matter) So to pass emissions you will need to use a 97 accord ecu. The car will run on it, just limp it around of course. Drive it for at least 24 hours (a complete cold start is required to run...
I'm interested too, as I'm now having the same problem. Only I didn't replace anything and it worked last winter. Maybe we have the same problem? I've checked all of the above to no prevail.
When a thermostat breaks it is usually in a partially open position, and being its getting cold out now it will take a long time to reach temperature, because you are continuously cooling it as it flows freely through the system. Thermostats are cheap and easy to replace, so I'd start there.
First of all I would teach the gf how to drive a manual it takes about 2 hours if their decently coordinated. Second tell us what the symptoms are and we'll be glad to help.
I found a turbo set up for sale locally and the guy says its a t3 t4 Turbonetics high five 260. I've searched and cant find anything about it, so does anyone know anything about this turbo. Like trim and A/R?
thanks
Those two hoses running out of the bottom of the vss are for power steering assist on a prelude. You need to order the correct vss from a prelude without the power steering assist.
IF I remember right my ps was a special size belt, we just measured and bought the appropriate one. The ac and alternator belt was the stock accord one.
Have not found one "cheap" yet but haven't really looked at manifolds much, I just liked the idea of stainless cause it looks better.
Oh by the way I'm thinking of running t3/t4 50 tirm .48a/r. Should spool very quickly, I'm just worried about the turbo running out of gas around 7k. What do ya...
