yea i'm pretty positive all the mounts from 90-93 in tegs are the same. cuz i have a 90 teg and a 92-93 xsi b16 and used the mounts it came with. so u should be good to go. bolt it up and love the crossover
yea it could be that u think vtec is kicking in but could be just the car gettin louder like mine did when i first got it running. or the timing could be way off. many different factors.
ya i have the same problem and cant figure out y. so i jus wired the oil pressure switch to a switch and engage vtec when at full throttle around 5000 rpms so i know there is addiquate oil pressure. tempory fix till i can find the problem.
ya such a vauge question. you need to be more specific were the wire is coming from and then maybe we can help. also if its not hooked up and your throwing a CEL chek them and see wat it might be
it seems like your making alot of unessary work for yourself. or you prolly dont have the cash for the things to make your car obd1. but ya like every has said you use your stock dx harness and mate all the obd1 plugs into the old harness. and then get or make your own obd1 jumper harness. go to...
when the tranny is stamped with an s. like say ys1 or jus s1 then you have to buy the whole gear set because it means the gears are stamped together and you cant jus replace one gear or wat not. thats wat i get to do with my grinding ys1. i have 3rd 4th and 5th gears that are messed and this is...
yep jus had the same problem. jus finished my swap of a b16 into my integra and did a touge and busted the right inner cv joint seal and now inner wheel well has cv grease everywere. but when i replaced my LBJ on the driver side we removed the dust seal. so no more problem.
well ive talked with StarBellieAngel and me and her have the same motor, 92-93 obd1 xsi b16, we both have them in 90 integra's and converted the cars to obd1. i'm not sure if you have the funds to do that swap so you might just want to stick with the obd0 b16 and yes it will fit right into your...
y not just get a smog legal skunk2 IM ... or go to this a search for the manifold from the del sol i think its like around 300 bucks... http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/
^brian11to1 think you read the question wrong. keep your stock wiring harness, and all you need to do is hook up the new jumper harness and ecu, and the car should be good. let us know how it works
yea new that. have the motor in my car... and i think the way to tell if the b16 has 170 hp is either coming stock with a hydro tranny or being obd1. if it is obd0 and has cable, chances are its 160 hp. unless was converted to obd0 then you would check the tranny code to see if it was a ys1...
