i have always used gsr throttle cables to swap a b18c in a ek. they are like 45 at the dealer. couple times ive had trouble with the cable being slightly long. ive adjusted the pedal first and if it was still not enough i would put like spacers between the throttle body and the bracket. be sure...
no you dont want a si harness. you need a 96-98 civic ex harness. m/t would be the best. your car is obd2a. or modify the cx harness that you have. i think your other problem is that the engine is obd1 so youll have to either convert it obd2 or again modify the harness.
got doors and rear hatch with spoiler, glass, wiper, complete from a 1999 integra gsr. filler panel with the vtec badge. mirrors. also have 2 gsr clusters with 90k. its that purple blueish color. white spoiler (gsr) some misc. interior parts. have front and rear rear si seats(99-00). oem struts...
all you need is the gsr header and cat. after that that you can use any aftermarket exhaust or stock from a ex/si. thats what i did. i had a apexi exhaust. all worked.
thanks for the info guys. i got the cat yesterday from a friend. i did get the one with the o2 bung on it!! happy as hell!! i still havent tried to bolt the ls mani and y pipe to the motor. ill let youll know how it went. thanks again!
and you are right 1998hondacrxsiR1. the mani is thinner...
thanks for the info! do you think it has to be out of a gsr? could it be one out of an ls? i just got the mani and y pipe from an ls and it seems long enough. i previously had one from a 95 gsr and it come out short and no o2 sensor bung. i also found one from a 99 gsr and it was short like the...
hey i just got my swap semi done. still a nob. i need to know if anybody knows what headers to use on this swap? its a 99 civic si and its got a 2000 gsr engine. i dont wanna go and buy some expensive headers so i thought i could maybe use stock parts.(find them cheap on craigslist) I need it...
also for what i said about the si harness. i dont know if it works for you. it worked for me cause i did it on a 2000 civic and the engine was also a 2000 gsr so it was all obd2b. your is obd2a so i think your better off getting a ex harness. hope this helps.
yes. you have to run a wire to the ecu. then one for ground i believe. check this out.

click on the image to make it bigger. thats what i did. that should help you out alot!
the civics have a one piece harness and tegs have a two piece. which makes it impossible for you to use the teg engine harness. you have to use the one you have and modify it. if you dont want to do that, buy a harness for a civic si (what i did since i suck at wiring!) perfect fit. you only...
i know if your good with wiring you can modify yours to work. i know the ecu plugs are different. but if you wanna save yourself some time and headaches, get the harness of a civic si. thats the easiest one to use since all you have to do is extend a couple wires. (like two i think). i know you...
