The H is actually a motor thats laying around a shop that i can get for little to nothing. the plan is to just play with it and build it over time, not to just swap it right away... crv is a little harder to come by down here so intern the price is high... no worries tho thanks for ur opinion bro!

Hey guys, ive been having a delsol with a b18B1 for about 10 years now and i just found a H23 with a spun main bearing. just wondering if its worth my time to build the h23 for nitrous to put in a hatch... are there any problems with this motor that i should know about? ive been a B-series guy...
and no i dont have it anymore because the car is a 94 delsol and the hose pretty much dry rotted... after pulling the motor because i hydro locked it then rebuilding it and sticking it back in is when i noticed it in pieces... we just cranked it for the first time lastnight... ive had the car...
all we have locally is a honda dealership and i just wanted to make sure the part numbers matched b4 i ordered it... after looking today it appears to be the same type of used used on all b and d series motors... so ill def contact our local dealer in the morn... just explaining what i need to...
u cant use bulk hose because the diameter changes from one end of the hose to the other... plus it has a grommet type of piece that attaches it to the intake manifold...
its a b18b1 out of a 96 integra ls... 1.8 dohc and its a manual trans... they always ask. haha non vtec also! but im pretty sure that its the same part for all b-series. thanks for the help!
the honda 3rd gear curse... haha the 3rd in my b18b1 went out too... about to have to drop it and change everything! gotta wait till i can get a new clutch so i can just take care of that while the tranny is out...

hey guys, i ran through a puddle in the ol del sol... brock a rod in half and broke a piston skirt in cyl 1. while the bottom end is torn out would it be possible to swap in some stock honda pistons to raise compression while not giving me clearance issues? its a b18b1... what r my options guys...
