Absolutely correct, this was a poorly conceived idea, and that intake while interesting to look at, from a performance standpoint would be terrible. Also, it looks like that port work on the head was done by an ape with a hammer and chisel :D
The exhaust is for an LX? A 4 door right? What diameter pipe? Do you have the bearings from the si transmission still? I need a good input shaft bearing.
I have an almost new clutch disc for SOHC motor, it will fit 89 and up (20 splines) civic. I took this on a trade only to find out my trans has a 21 spline input shaft, so I can't use it. This is basically new, and has less than 1000 miles on it. Would trade for a similar disc with 21 splines.
These are brand new, never installed. These will work in any 1.6 motor, vtec and non vtec. They will bump up compression quite a bit, and make some nice power. $75 OBO. They are 75.5mm (.020 oversize) These also have lightweight hardened performance pins.
You need to use a VX belt, a Y8 belt would be too long. Also, you need an adjustable cam gear as your cam timing will be a half tooth or 4.5 degrees off. Also, your compression will be closer to 11:1 with the flat top pistons of the B8 with a Y8 head. If you boost that you will blow it up.
