I went with the USDM fuel rail and distributor/external coil because it was an easy swap over. The JDM distributor doesn't come with an external coil and needs wiring done. Also, use the H22a injectors while you're at it.
Hey guys its not a big of a deal but does anyone happen to know how to make the H22 95-96 digital speedometer cluster work on a 92 prelude that is an F22 analog cluster? I believe i'm missing some kinda power wire? If anyone has done this setup, please let me know. Digital looks so much better...
M2B4 = JDM LSD transmission. M2S4 = USDM H23 transmission. M2F4 = USDM H22 tranny. JDM is the way to go and yes it will bold on just like any other F or H series transmission. If you can find one (JDM) for less than 1,000 get it cuz usually it cost a lil bit over 1,000 bucks.. M2S4 (H23 tranny)...
my 92 lude H22a Swap
I still have my 92 lude with JDM H22a swap in it with JDM ECU like yours and i experienced the same ecu code error. My engine runs and everything perfectly but i just hate codes so i had to make it dissappear. Well what worked for me was the egr control solenoid valve. If...
high idling problem
sounds like you might need the vacuum hoses at the correct places. i had that trouble when i did my swap too but i solved it by experimenting placing each hose at a different connection till it works. thats one way to do it
Ok, i been doing mad reasearch all and the only thing left to mess with are the ground and the headlight switch. I turned it on and off several times and my headlights finally came back on. Seems like it had a mind of its own almost. But i located the ground for the headlights and i brushed it...
last night on the way back home from work, my headlamps (low beams) were working fine. After a few mins at home i decided to go out with some friends. Got in my car and cranked it up. When i turned my head lights on, they weren't working at all. All other lights (turn signals, lamps, rear lamps)...
how much would you do the h22a p13 jdm ECU w/ spoon sports chip for? oh, and i live in Charlotte, NC 28216 if that helps any =)
would you happen to have the wires to make the analog speedometer into a digital for the 92-96 lude?
Also, let me know if you have info on it, what rev limit, speed...
i fixed it by now lol, yeah i know its been awhile but yeah, it was the idle air control valve. i had to take it out, open it up and clean the metal bypass where the two hoses connect. somehow rust or more like mud blocked the passageway and the coolant couldn't circulate. And the best thing is...

.:FFS TechNet : OBD1 ECU Pin out Schematics :.
Hey guys, just to let you know, these sites i listed here are very helpful and i got all the things done by myself. Vtec works regularly and all. Don't forget to invest in a soldering kit cuz it sure enforces a simple wire connection.
ok nevermind, i guess it skips "C" and goes from "A to B to D" as far as the ecu connection pins go. Welp i'll give it a shot! Thanks.

thats weird cuz this is what i found and i dont see a "D" pin anywhere on obd1s. Could it be that yours is an auto and mine is 5spd?

A pic of my 92 prelude with JDM H22a, ADR 18s, carbon fiber vis hood, aero rear bumper, R33 front bumper. full catback exhaust, spoon catalytic converter.
Yeah man thanks for the compliments, well actually, one of my dogs chewed up the distributor wires when i was doing the swap lol, so i gave him away actually. I was pissed cuz dizz aint cheap and i didnt feel like buying another one so i just rewired them. Well i got the engine runing and all...
