I'd like to thank everyone who put their two-cents worth in on my ZC install. I made mistakes but learned quite a bit. An extra shout-out to jlicrx who always had the correct answer. My '89 Si runs like new...only faster. Next, the JR blower. :o
I killed my Si ECU...live and learn. So, will I be happy with an '88-89 Integra ECU, or should I have my Si unit repaired and send it to ZDYNE for a ZC reflash? I've checked out a few JDM ZC ECUs and the prices run a lot higher than my other options.
Okay, I rewired my ignition from the http://www.zcspeed.com/SiZCwiring.pdf
I think I have a short somewhere because my fuel injection is not turning on. Inputs and outputs are okay, but I have only 1.5V coming out of the computer. Help, have I damaged my ECU?
In search of bolt-on power for my ZC, I have intended to get an underdrive pulley. Unorthodox Racing has one for the ZC, but only for a 22mm crank-snout and my motor has a 24mm crank snout. Would anyone know of any substitutions that might work?
I'm concidering painting the surrounds on my dash vents silver. Has anyone ever used Folia Tec Metall-Effect paint? Is it possible to remove the vents from the front...or am I going to have to mask them off and paint them in place?
I want to upgrade the cooling on my '89 Civic Si and I once read that you can drop in the wider Integra radiator without interfering with A/C etc. Could anyone verify this.
Hi Folks, I’m new here! I have an OBD1 ZC that I intend to install in my OBD0 ’89 Honda Civic Si. I intend to convert the ZC to OBD0 but have heard different advice from everyone I have asked. I will be using my Si trans and ECU with a ZDYNE conversion. What am I facing?
